BIOGRAPHY
Manhattan Clique are producers, remixers and writers Philip Larsen and Chris Smith. Working from their Manhattan Loft Studios, the duo are now based in the UK.
They have worked with some of the biggest names in pop: Katy Perry (remixing 6 of the last 10 singles), Lady Gaga, Timbaland, Nicole Scherzinger, La Roux, OneRepublic, Britney Spears, Lily Allen and Nelly Furtado. In the last 12 months their remixes have also included Example, Wretch 32, Chris Brown, Fenech-Soler, Studio Killers and many more.
Their remixes are regularly in Top 10 of dance, club and pop charts in the UK, US and Germany, whilst their remix edits are also wildly popular with radio stations, gaining support on BBC Radio 1, Kiss and Capital in the UK, plus across Rhythmic radio stations in the US.
Manhattan Clique have worked with some of the biggest artists in Europe; from Germany's Frida Gold, Norway's Ida Maria, Holland's Esmée Denters, Russia's Valeriya to French megastar Mylene Farmer. Her duet with Moby, 'Slipping Away' was Manhattan Clique's first #1 production, spending several weeks at the top of the French charts in 2006.
Manhattan Clique are unrivalled in their work with pioneering electronic acts, including Human League, Soft Cell, The B-52's plus they co-wrote and produced Erasure frontman Andy Bell’s Electric Blue album. Philip Larsen has additionally won a Grammy award for his mix work on Kylie Minogue’s Come Into My World.
The duo have DJ'd across four continents and are currently preparing tracks for their own album.
